My aunt sent me something this morning that is so amazing, I haven't been able to get it out of my head...and I tear up everytime I think about it. I'm not sure how many of my readers believe in God - but even if you don't, this story is unbelievable and needs to be shared with as many people as possible. What an inspiration:

The son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?".
The father who, despite having a heart condition says, "Yes".
They went on to complete that together & even completed other marathons.
The father always saying "Yes" to his son's request of going through the race together.
One day, the son asked his father, "Dad, let's join the Iron man together".
To which, his father said, "Yes'".
For those who don't know, Iron man is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses 3 endurance events; a 2.4 mile ocean swim, a 112 mile bike ride & ends with a 26.2 mile run. Father & son went on to complete the race together. Please view this:

I should have known better than to watch that while I was at work. I'm blubbering like a baby here! I've read many articles about the Hoyt's but had never seen video before. Absolutely amazing. So touching. Thanks K. xoxo Amanda

I have seen this many times before and cry every time! I'm too tired for a cry today but I think this is the best story ever!

I've seen the Hoyt's video several times too, but it doesn't stop me from crying every darn time. It really is amazing.
Today we're headed out of town and are a little frantic, it was nice to pause and watch the video again. Thanks for posting this!

There's a really good one on you tube set to the song 'I can Only Imagine'. It has the son typing on the computer.....truly moving and inspirational.
